Un paio di arance da candire (ovviamente biologiche)
500 g di zucchero
150 gr di buon miele, di acacia o all'arancia


Indispensabile, un tegame basso e largo dove cuocere le fette sistemandole in un solo strato.
Con un coltello bene affilato tagliate l’arancia a fette di circa mezzo cm. Sciogliete lo zucchero in 500 g di acqua e sistemate le fette d’arancia sul fondo del tegame coprendole con lo sciroppo, portate a ebollizione e lasciatele sobbollire pianissimo per una quarantina di minuti. Poi sgocciolatele e mettetele ad asciugare su una gratella (conservate lo sciroppo: sarà un'ottima bagna per dolci) per una notte circa. Infine, frullatele e mescolatele al miele.
